The first Oktoberfest took place in 1810, to celebrate the wedding of the Bavarian Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese. The people of Munich were invited to celebrate, and ever since Oktoberfest has been a hit! This Oktoberfest is a rich amber / mahogany in color. Vienna and Munich Malts add a nice depth and complexity. With notes of light toasted malt, along with toffee and caramel. The flavor is malt forward with a toasted aspect, and just enough hop character to balance.
